According to the Korean media “Law Times”, Jessica’s sideline brand Blanc & Eclare is located in the Cheongdam-dong main store in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It was sued by the landlord in December 2021 because Blanc & Eclare has repeatedly defaulted on rent since August 2021. It has also appeared in the media in the past. At that time, the settlement ended in June 2022. The condition of the settlement is that if the rent is in arrears again, it will apply to the court for enforcement.

As a result, at the end of 2022, Blanc & Eclare defaulted on the rent again, and the court began to enforce against Blanc & Eclare on the 24th of this month. However, Blanc & Eclare issued a statement stating that the first floor of the rented store is a clothing store, and the second floor is a restaurant and bar. During the period of the new crown pneumonia, it explained to the landlord that the entire catering industry is in trouble, and requested to suspend the payment of rent, but the landlord refused and informed them. “Leave after 3 months in arrears.”
