From 0 am to about 7:30 am, the maximum cumulative rainfall was 34.5 mm in Shimen District. Subsequent rainfall will continue until around 12 noon. . Affected by southwesterly winds on the 25th, there were showers in the mountainous areas on the south side.

The New Taipei City Government held a municipal meeting in the morning. Fire Chief Li Qing’an reported that the front will pass through New Taipei today and the rainfall will continue until around 12 noon. From 0 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., the maximum cumulative rainfall in New Taipei City was 34.5 mm in Shimen District, followed by Jinshan District (31.5 mm), Ruifang District (30 mm), and Xizhi District (18.5 mm). .

Li Qingan said that due to the influence of the residual cloud system of the front and the northeasterly wind, there will be brief cloudy showers in various places. The 24-hour cumulative rainfall on the north and east sides can reach 50 to 80 mm, with the maximum hourly rainfall of 10 to 30 mm. The daily rainfall on the remaining west and south sides is below the heavy rain level.

The fire department said that due to the southwesterly wind on the 25th, there were showers in the mountainous areas on the south side, and the daily rainfall was below the heavy rain level. A wave front will pass through on the 26th, and the daily rainfall on the west and north sides is predicted to be close to heavy rain. Until the day of the 27th, the front moved away and the rainfall slowed down. However, there were still opportunities for afternoon convection development on the west and north sides, and the daily rainfall was close to heavy rain levels.

The Fire Department said that this is based on the forecast data of the weather risk company, but the forecast variability of frontal convection is still high, and the Disaster Response Center will continue to monitor it.
