Lin Liangjun said that public transportation should play an important role in the Neihu area, but in fact it has not maximized its effectiveness; according to statistics, 80% of medical commuters do not use YouBike as a commuting or transfer tool. She pointed out that the road design in Neike is not friendly to bicycles, and the lack of stations is also a big problem.
Lin Liangjun pointed out that although 75% of commuters are willing to take commuter buses, the routes and stops do not match actual needs, which also reduces their willingness to take them. She said that it can be seen that there is a lot of room for improvement in the transfer utilization of public transportation in Neihu Science Park.
Lin Liangjun also said that Neihu Transportation should increase incentives to use public transportation to face the dark construction period of the “Eastern Ring Section of the MRT Circular Line” in the next few years. In particular, the construction route of the East Ring Section will run through Ruiguang Road, the heart of Neihu, and it is bound to be It will worsen traffic in Neihu.
