The Hakka Bureau stated that New Taipei City is an “urban Hakka” and its promotion strategies and methods are obviously different from those of Hakka villages. The current promotion strategies include cultural transmission, festival exhibitions, local creative arts, and Hakka cross-arts. There are still several tasks that still need to be done. Please continue to implement: First, build “Harbin Guest Houses” widely. Currently, 6 Hakka Guesthouses have been completed in Zhonghe, Tamsui, Xindian, Xinzhuang, Banqiao and Wugu. A seventh Hakka Guest House is planned to be set up in Luzhou in 2020. The guest house aims to increase to 10 in 2015. It is hoped that the people of New Taipei City can “encounter Hakkas around the corner”. From point to line, and then from line to surface, the beauty of Hakka culture will be further expanded in New Taipei.

Second, implement the inheritance of Hakka language, including the promotion of Hakka language in schools. The best time for children to learn Hakka language is from an early age, so we must continue to promote it. The other is to promote it from the Hakka youth, so the “Hakka Youth Think Tank” was established to use the Hakka youth The influence of the think tank group calls on young people to participate in Hakka activities, serve as hosts, judges, curate creations and record Hakka food programs to showcase and preserve Hakka culture and cultivate a new generation of Hakkas. The Hakka Bureau is requested to continue to implement and promote it.

Third, implement the “Wuliao Hakka Village Creation Plan”. 60% of the residents in Wuliao, Sanxia District are Hakka group friends. This is an important Hakka base. The city’s first Hakka Village Creation Base is in Wuliao. A public-private partnership is used to connect Wuliao Hakka Village, community colleges and local cultural centers to establish partnerships to expand Hakka seeds in New Taipei City and continue to pass on Hakka culture.

Fourth, develop the sustainable goals of SDGs. The “Hakka Cultural Park” features local tea, dyeing, Hakka, ecology and parent-child interaction. It is an important Hakka cultural heritage base in New Taipei. It has also passed environmental education certification and become a major cultural heritage base in New Taipei. It is the first environmental education site with the goal of inheriting Hakka culture.
