In recent years, the Water Conservancy Bureau of the Taichung City Government has solved local flooding problems. From 113 to 114 years ago, Invested 110 million yuan to strengthen urban water safety construction, of which approximately 77.99 million yuan was obtained from the Central Land Management Administration, and the city government raised approximately 33.43 million yuan from its own funds..Last year, the “Diversion box and culvert project of Houkenan Road, Houli District, Taichung City” and the “Storage sewer project of Dazhi Street, Dajia District” were completed,byThis year, the “Qingshui District Zhongyi Road Rainwater Sewer Improvement Project” and the “Shalu District Nandou Road Rainwater Sewer Improvement Project” were completed. After the passage of fronts and recent heavy rainfall, there was no flooding, and the flooding problem in the area has been effectively solved.
Director of Water Conservancy Fan Shiyi said that it is urgent to solve the flooding problem. The city government continues to promote urban water safety construction. Currently, “Taiping District G Trunk Rainwater Sewer (Phase 1)”, “Dadu District Free Road Rainwater Sewer Project” and ” Cases such as the “Drainage Improvement Project of Dalong Road in Xitun District” are being processed one after another and are expected to be completed by the end of this year. The “Rainwater Sewer Project of Section 2 of Fengshi Road in Fengyuan District” has first completed the Fuyang Road interception project in the most urgent section and can be solved For most flooding problems, the relocation of rainwater sewer pipelines on Fengshi Road will continue to be coordinated and handled. Once the project is completed, regional flood control capabilities will be improved.
The Water Conservancy Bureau stated that the rainy season has recently coincided with the flood season, and citizens are reminded to maintain crisis awareness during the rainy season.
