(Central News Agency, Washington, 24th, comprehensive foreign news reports) US President Joe Biden signed into law a bill to assist Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan today, and said that Washington will start sending new aid to Ukraine within a few hours.

The $95 billion bill also includes forcing the short-form video platform TikTok to “disconnect” from its Chinese parent company ByteDance, otherwise it will face a nationwide ban in the United States.

Agence France-Presse reported that Biden told reporters today, “I just signed the national security package bill that the House of Representatives passed over the weekend and the Senate passed yesterday,” adding that he “will ensure that the delivery (of aid) will begin immediately within a few hours.” .

The bill to aid Ukraine was delayed for several months before it was passed. During this period, the Ukrainian troops fighting the Russian invasion were short of ammunition and suffered defeats on the battlefield.

Biden said the aid bill “will make the United States and the world safer and continue America’s leadership in the world.” He also said that the bill “gives important assistance to U.S. partners so that they can protect themselves against threats to their sovereignty and the lives and freedoms of their citizens.”

On the other hand, Biden also asked Israel today to immediately send new humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Israel, an important ally of the United States, is fighting against the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas in Gaza. (Translator: Yang Zhaoyan) 1130425
