There are huge business opportunities in Taiwan’s Internet supply chain. WiFi Halow chip supplier Morse Micro is optimistic about Taiwan’s advantages in the supply chain of the Netcom industry and today announced the official establishment of a new branch in Taiwan. Michael De Nil, co-founder and CEO of Morse Microelectronics, said that it demonstrates its commitment to deepening its presence in Taiwan and writes a new milestone for its entry into the Asia-Pacific region (APAC). It is understood that Morse Microelectronics will also expand in Taiwan. In addition to existing application engineers, there will also be business expansion.

Morse Microelectronics has been operating in Taiwan for many years, and TSMC has entered into cooperative relationships in the manufacturing field. It has also cooperated with Viken, Asia Silicon Technology and Quanke Technology to sell WiFI CERTIFIED Halow chips in Greater China. By opening a new office in Taiwan, we are also working together with WiFi Halow modules and ODM customers to provide long-distance, low-power connection capabilities for Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

Morse Microelectronics has the industry-leading WiFi HaLow product portfolio, including the industry’s smallest, fastest and lowest power consumption WiFi solution, which provides 10 times the transmission distance, 100 times the coverage area and 1,000 square meters of traditional Wi-Fi solutions. Double the capacity, promotion will begin in 2021, and European and American customers will also begin to adopt it after 2 to 3 years.

Robert Fergusson, the Australian representative in Taiwan, attended the opening ceremony of the new office. He said that the new office of Morse Microelectronics will bring Australian innovation to the core of Taipei. The investment in the new office confirms the growing relationship between Taiwan and Macao. trade opportunities, hoping to further strengthen existing trade links and deepen the economic partnership between the two parties. We hope that the two parties can cooperate more closely in the future and work together to create prosperity.

Michael De Nil pointed out that the latest fundraising is a 140 million Australian dollar (nearly NT$3 billion) Series B financing in 2022. This round of financing was led by the Japanese chip company MegaChips Corporation. In the long run, the ultimate goal of Morse Microelectronics is to go public. However, although Morse Microelectronics is from Australia, as an IC design company, listing on Nasdaq may be a more suitable listing location for Morse Microelectronics.
