In order to improve the comfort and safety of the children’s playground, “Macaron Park”, a popular park in Taiping District that has created many topics since its opening, will add awnings to the swing area in late May. Construction Director Chen Datian said that the construction is expected to be partially closed from late May to July. In order to deal with the possibility of heat damage in summer, Melody 3.0 shading facilities will be added in the near future, and 2 sets of shading will be added in the swing area. The main body of the shed is made of white steel structure and white shade net, with a total height of more than 5 meters, which can meet the sunshade requirements and comply with the safety distance regulations of the game field.
Director Chen further explained that in addition to the swing area with awnings added this time, the park also has special game fields with different levels of challenge, pet activity areas, macaron-colored basketball courts, climbing equipment, trampolines, scooter areas, sunshine There are various facilities such as toilets and parking lots. The public is reminded to follow the relevant guidance and instructions when using various recreational facilities so that parents and children can have fun and feel safe.
The Building and Construction Bureau stated that the first wave of shading facilities in the Taichung Melody 3.0 project has been completed in Shiquan Park in the East District and will be open for use before Children’s Day this year. This time, shading facilities will be added to the swing area of ”Makaron Park” in Taiping District. Optimize the comfort of the playground and provide a more friendly resting environment for the public.
