Officials from the Taiwan Affairs Office took the opportunity to promote concepts such as “Blue, White and Harmony” in an attempt to influence the presidential and legislative elections.

The New Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office today prosecuted Yao and Jian for violating the Anti-infiltration Law, the Law on the Election and Removal of Public Officials, and the Law on the Election and Removal of the President and Vice President. After Yao Nan came to the case, he confessed. The prosecutor thought that he had a good attitude and suggested that the judge could give him a lighter sentence if he still confessed to the crime during the future trial.
