Disney, which has been around for 100 years, will hold its world premiere “Disney Superstars Concert” in Taipei over the weekend. Eight powerful performers will share the stage to create a unique music world for Taiwanese fans.
Standing on the Taipei Pop Music Center stage, the performers are fully prepared for the weekend’s “Disney Superstars Concert” performance, and will bring 28 animated hits to the audience, which fans are looking forward to.
Creative Director Brannon Fells: “We brought everyone from the United States, London, Brazil and other places to Taiwan and collaborated with Taiwan’s symphony orchestra and choir.”
Concert music director Benjamin, who won the Broadway World Award for “Best Musical Director”, has led the team to tour more than 100 cities in North America. This time, he has created an exclusive stage for the world premiere in Taiwan.
Music Director Benjamin Rauhala: “The repertoire of this concert covers classics spanning a century.”
Creative Director Brannon Fells: “From Snow White to Aisha in Disney’s latest animated film “Star Wish”, the arrangement of the concert repertoire is really important. We don’t want a single song or a single generation to take up too much time. At the same time, We also need to control the overall atmosphere and mood of the concert, and let everyone feel surprises at every turn.”
Disney’s original singers and Broadway superstars will work together to reinterpret classic characters and more than 20 golden songs, which will once again set a musical peak for Disney animation.
