Li Zhihui, a student from Lanyang Girls’ High School, was originally a member of the choir at school. After watching the concert held by the Oukai Choir invited by the Lin Xiaoxin Foundation last year, she found a cappella very interesting, and then devoted herself to the training of the a cappella club. Li Zhihui The students said that they originally thought a cappella was similar to a choir. After actually participating, they found that a cappella requires more skills, and because there are no instruments, it also relies more on tacit understanding among the team. Fortunately, the students are very united and the teacher teaches the class. It’s fun and makes me happy every time I take class.

Professor Zhang Yuzhen said that promoting culture and art from campus is only the beginning of the foundation. In the future, it will not only include a cappella, but also include various instrumental music, art festivals, cross-border cooperation and other fields, and gradually move towards the community and even the entire Yilan region. We will expand the implementation in a step-by-step manner, gather these tangible and intangible resources, and create a living environment full of artistic atmosphere, so that Yilan can become a music city like Vienna in the future. Please wait and see. (Photo taken by reporter Lin Mingyi)
