The Taichung City Government continues to protect the health of citizens. Elderly people over 65 years old who receive any dose of influenza, COVID-19 or Streptococcus pneumoniae vaccine will receive 10 doses of COVID-19 rapid screening reagents, with a maximum of 30 doses per person; if they receive the COVID-19 vaccine, they will receive an additional NT$500. Gift certificates; encourage eligible vaccine recipients to actively take the vaccine to enhance protection.
The Health Bureau stated that this year’s three vaccines, including influenza, COVID-19 Moderna XBB.1.5 vaccine and Streptococcus pneumoniae vaccine, are inactivated vaccines and can be inoculated at different sites at the same time as other vaccines, or at any time interval.
