(Central News Agency reporter Wang Xinyu, Taipei, 21st) The “Invincible Oriental” singer Zhang Qingfang announced today that the TimeLESS concert will be held at the Kaohsiung Dome on March 2 next year. She also shared that she won the first prize in a singing competition in Kaohsiung 40 years ago before she could make her debut. This time she will bring all her good songs to Kaohsiung.
Zhang Qingfang’s concert in June this year was equipped with a 24-person orchestra and a four-sided stage design. She sang classic songs such as “I’m Still Young”, “After Passion”, “Dear Please Don’t Tell”, and invited her son Nathan to sing as a guest singer. She said through the organizer today that next year’s Kaohsiung event will happen to be in the middle of the semester, and she hopes the organizer will “burn their brains” to find a way to give her son a chance to appear.
She will start singing in Kaohsiung next year. Zhang Qingfang said that 40 years ago, she participated in the 1st National Vocational College Song Composition Competition in Kaohsiung and won the “Best Vocalist Award”. She had the opportunity to debut in Kaohsiung. Kaohsiung can also be regarded as an opportunity for her to enter the music scene. We hope to bring good songs to Kaohsiung this time.
Zhang Qingfang said that in addition to abstaining from alcohol before the concert, she also “increasingly” stopped eating bread and sweets and continued to exercise, hoping to prepare a perfect body and voice for the audience. She also said that she looked forward to eating Kaohsiung salty porridge to reward herself after the concert.
The organizer stated that the concert ticket sales date and other details will be announced gradually. (Editor: Long Baian) 1121121
