The group members included Taiwanese riders from all walks of life and overseas riders from 15 countries. They experienced different places along the way. This year coincides with the end of the epidemic, and the long-awaited trip of overseas cyclists to Taiwan to cycle around the island has finally come true. Among the 40 members of the Kaohsiung Knights, 28 are from 8 overseas countries, making the team very international.

Among them, Winson, who is from Australia, is no stranger to Taiwan. He has always wanted to ride a bicycle around the island. He used to travel in big cities when he came to Taiwan. This time he rode a bicycle to many places he had never been before, such as the highest point of the Nanhui Highway – Shou. The countryside fields and green spaces in Kahua and Huadong. “After I go back, I will strongly recommend my friends to come to Taiwan and ride a bicycle around the island,” he said.

Rika Miyazawa of the Japanese Knights is from Ehime Prefecture. Before setting off, her family was worried about her riding alone in a remote place.
