In addition, when chatting, the system will tell users whether the other party is “online” or “typing”. Now these prompts have been updated to “Online” and “Typing”. Although this is a small change, users are also very concerned about it.
WhatsApp explains color change
WhatsApp says it’s using color “more intentionally” to allow users to “focus more on what’s most important on the screen.” The app revealed that if users haven’t seen these changes yet, they may have to wait for a while and recommended that users continue to update the app to the latest version.

More updates and changes
WhatsApp highlighted the changes in the update on its website, including an update to the color scheme, with the green used being adjusted to match the brand color, and some icons and buttons being shaped or colored differently.
Dark Mode darker
Additionally, Dark Mode is now darker to make text easier to read, while Light Mode adds more white space. Other parts such as the intervals between apps have also been increased and the WhatsApp logo will be displayed in the chat tab. Android users will notice that tabs that were previously at the top of the screen have now been moved to the bottom for easier access.
