France’s Directorate General of Health (DGS) said in a document shared with AFP that the health authorities of the southern Occitanie region asked Nestlé’s mineral water company in France to destroy the products produced between March 10 and 14 this year. Nestle, the Swiss food company that owns Perluya, said that about 2 million bottles of water were destroyed “as a precautionary measure” and that Perluya bottled water sold in stores is safe.

CarrefourIt said that Carrefour and top supermarket Mia C’bon have both taken precautionary measures from the shelves; Aimai said that it will fully cooperate with the manufacturers to deal with it.
