The Pingtung County Government classified this event as “a The first warm-up activity of the 2013 National Democracy Movement in Pingtung encourages people to integrate sports into their lives, exercise health and vitality, enjoy the enthusiasm of southern Taiwan, and use their sweat to experience the new urban atmosphere created by Pingtung.

The Pingtung Marathon course is quite exciting. The 21-kilometer and 42-kilometer categories pass through the red and purple lines of the Rainbow Bike Trail, Victory Star Village, Heritage Park, Pingtung Sugar Factory and Liudui Hakka Cultural Park, all of which are located in the Pingtung Marathon. Local special attractions, the conference also provided the general chef with sea, land and air delicacies to replenish physical strength during the process, including ice rolls, beef platter, smoked tea goose and other delicacies. All-Malaysian men’s team Lin Yanzhu and women’s team Zhou Lingjun
Although the purpose of the event is to encourage sports, many runners still worked hard to achieve good results. The first place in the men’s full marathon group was Lin Yanzhu, with a time of two hours, 41 minutes and 11 seconds, and the women’s group was Zhou Lingjun, with a time of three hours and 20 seconds. One minute and 19 seconds, the first place in the half marathon men’s group is Xu Zhengzong, and the women’s group is Yang Guanling. This is a sports carnival belonging to Pingtung, and the Ping County Government also hopes that people will challenge themselves and surpass their limits next year.
For 87-year-olds, the minimum age to participate is 2 years old
The Pingtung County Government stated that this year’s event has contestants from Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the United States coming to Taiwan to participate. The youngest contestant is two years old and the oldest is 87 years old. There are also well-known domestic and foreign companies participating. For such a grand event, special arrangements were made for heavy-duty motorcycle leaders to clear the way for the contestants. The road running event also links to the cooperative stores of Victory Star Village to enjoy discounts.
