Cases of evil cowherd clubs forcing female customers into prostitution to pay off credit are increasing rapidly in Japan. In response to this issue, a female victim recently attended a hearing of the Japanese opposition party and complained that in order to pay the so-called “credit payment”, she was asked to work in a special industry overseas. And the suicide attempt failed. When Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida responded to the House of Representatives session on the 20th, he stated that “illegal activities will be banned and thorough guidance and publicity will be provided.”

According to the “TBS” report, regarding the current actual situation, a 20-year-old woman A who attended the hearing of the Japanese opposition party on the 20th complained, “There are calls 24 hours a day asking me when I can pay back the money. I keep receiving calls. Ask me if I’m working or how much my sales are.”
As for why it’s on credit? Girl A said that because she was addicted to Cowherd, “Cowherd satisfied my love and loneliness.”
The report pointed out that Girl A spent 10 million yen (2.13 million yen) in two years, and she still has 1.6 million yen (approximately NT$340,000) on credit. She said that if she still failed to pay off the credit, she would be asked by Cowherd to go overseas to engage in special industries, including going to Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, etc.

Since there are many people traveling in these countries and regions, even if a woman goes alone, she will be less suspicious. Countries such as the United States are stricter and may even force people to return home, so they will choose countries where it is easier to enter.
The report also introduced the case of another 25-year-old girl who was obsessed with the Cowherd Club. The report pointed out that according to Girl B’s mother, Girl B initially went to the Cowherd Club at the invitation of a friend. It was said that it was because “bringing friends there would get a discount.”
Although it cost 3,000 yen (approximately NT$640) the first time, on Cowherd’s birthday, Girl B got 2 million yen (approximately NT$420,000) on credit. Subsequently, due to suffering from these credit debts, Woman B attempted suicide many times, and it is said that she is still hospitalized.
According to the “Asahi Shimbun” report, a member of the House of Representatives from the Constitution Party pointed out through a question on the 20th that “the credit of the Cowherd Club is completely different from the general credit that gives credit based on the customer’s ability to pay.” He also said that “there have been victims in the lives of Destroyed and even forced to commit suicide,” the government was asked to come up with countermeasures.
Kishida responded, “In addition to clamping down on Cowherd Club employees who violate the Prostitution Prevention Act, the Occupational Safety Act and other illegal activities, we will also enter the Cowherd Club store to provide guidance based on the Business Management Act, and make everyone familiar with relevant laws such as the Consumer Contract Act, and Continue to take measures such as strengthening consulting services.”
