Tainan City’s first model labor commendation meeting was held in Anping District on the 26th. The Director of Labor, Wang Xinji, presented awards to 187 outstanding model workers from the unions affiliated to the Tainan City Federation of Trade Unions. The Tainan City Federation of Trade Unions recently went to Japan to provide relief for earthquake disasters, and was brought back by Chairman Chen Shuilin. A souvenir from Kanazawa Mayor Taku Murayama was handed over to Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe and accepted by representative Wang Xinji.
