After the Legislative Yuan meeting, Fu Kunqi, the convener of the Kuomintang League, immediately took 16 party legislators straight to Taoyuan Airport to start a three-day and two-night visit to Bank of China! In her speech at the airport before leaving the country, Fu Kunqi emphasized that she hopes to restore cross-strait relations after eight years of interruption, and hopes that mainland tourists will come to Taiwan to revitalize Hualien. Fearing that the Kuomintang would once again become a model of the United Front, the Taiwanese government went to the airport to protest.

Members of the Taiwanese nation wore masks with the faces of Xi Jinping, Fu Kunqi, and Chen Yuzhen, and mocked the blue camp for going to the other side to hug their thighs!

Chairman of the Taiwan Council Chen Junhan shouted: “Put aside disaster relief and lick the Communist Party as your top priority!”

Fu Kunqi, the general convenor of the Kuomintang, said: “Come on Taiwan, come on both sides of the Taiwan Strait!”

Despite the domestic criticism, Kuomintang legislator Fu Kunqi insisted on taking party legislators to Beijing for a 3-day and 2-night trip to visit China. His originally serious poker face showed smiles from time to time!

Fu Kunqi said: “The largest party in Congress can carry out a peaceful ice-breaking trip. I hope that the cross-strait relations that have been interrupted for eight years can be restored and all the hatred in the past can be reduced. I hope that the DPP can be a responsible political party and can provide Kuomintang’s greatest blessing for this trip.”

The Kuomintang Legislative Yuan caucus went straight to Beijing for dialogue. A total of 17 people, including two non-district legislators, were traveling with them. They were expected to return to Taiwan on the 28th, but the itinerary was kept secret. It is reported that Fu Kunqi and his party will stay at the China World Hotel. The next day, they are expected to visit the Xiaomi Automobile Factory, the Innovation Operation Center of the Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone, etc. It is not ruled out that they will meet with Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Beijing, at the Great Hall of the People. However, there were two consecutive earthquakes in Hualien, and Fu Kunqi’s insistence on visiting China caused controversy.

Fu Kunqi said: “Hualien is already facing an unprecedented bankruptcy crisis. Letting mainland compatriots enter Taiwan is just like the 4 million or 5 million mainland tourists who came to Taiwan for sightseeing every year in the past.”

Chen Junhan questioned: “Deliberately choosing to be in China with Blinken, deliberately choosing to overlap with him at the same time, obviously provides the best material for the CCP’s external propaganda, that is, it is willing to serve as a model for China’s united front.”

Taiwan criticized Fu Kunqi for being willing to become a model of united front, disregarding Taiwan’s sovereignty and sending wrong international messages.
